3 Things You MUST Do This Winter

By December 22, 2015 Adventure No Comments
Can you believe that it is officially winter? I mean with this record breaking warm temperatures for the months of November and December I wouldn’t believe it either. It will be 71 degrees on Christmas Eve in New York City. 71 degrees. I just bought two new winter coats (That are FLY by the way), and I have yet to debut the flyness because of the inconsistent temperatures. I am in no way complaining, because if you know me, you know that I absolutely hate being cold and I know this will not last for long, but enjoy it while you can.
To officially “kick off” winter, here are a list of activities that you can do this winter.
  1. Host a Potluck If you are into dinner parties, but don’t want to do all of the cooking by yourself, invite some of your close friends over and have them bring a dish. As the hostess create a signature cocktail and make your signature dish. You can also have them bring different wines and make it a wine and cheese party. Create an awesome playlist and enjoy good food, drinks, and conversations.
  2. Visit a Hot Chocolate Bar– There are places like the Cocoa Bar and The Chocolate Room that have decadent desserts and hot chocolate. This would be great for a date because it is not your typical dinner and drinks. I mean who does not want to try spicy hot chocolate or white chocolate mint? Here is NYC Go’s List of Hot Chocolate Spots.
  3. Pajama Party Game Night Get a group of your friends together and host an epic pajama party game night. Grab your favorite PJs and games from the past. Whether the night starts with Karaoke and ends with taboo, you are guaranteed to have a good time. If you don’t have space in your apartment, look for an affordable hotel suite. Order some pizza and wings or make your own finger foods, just keep the menu simple. The focus is on the games.

What are you looking forward to doing this winter?
